The music of Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass was as much a part of the '60s as that of The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Motown.  'Whipped Cream & Other Delights' transformed Herb and the TJB into superstars, spending eight weeks at number 1 on the Billboard charts and an incredible 141 weeks in the Top 40.  The original 12 tracks revolve around the theme of food and include the triple Grammy-winning hit, 'A Taste of Honey', and the Dating Game theme 'Whipped Cream'.  This 40th anniversary edition includes 2 bonus tracks.  The album was also famous for the iconic cover art featuring model Dolores Erickson strategically swathed in whipped cream.
